Bringing You Freshness Since 1747
Local Farms. Fresher Milk.
The family farms that supply the milk for Rutter's Organic Milk are committed to the organic and sustainable way of life. Every farm is certified organic by PCO (Pennsylvania Certified Organic). NO GMOs, NO synthetic or artificial growth hormones, NO antibiotics, NO synthetic or persistent pesticides, and NO synthetic fertilizers are used.
Rutter's Organic Milk, like all of our milk, is pasteurized at standard pasteurization temperatures. We think these lower temperatures, compared to those used in ultra-pasteurization, give Rutter's Organic Milk a great fresh taste. Try some and you will taste the difference. Find out more information from Natural By Nature about the local farms the milk for Rutter's Organic Milk comes from.
Rutter's Organic Milk comes from family-owned organic farms in south central PA, eastern PA, and nearby northeastern MD. Buying from local farms not only benefits the local communities, it also helps us get the milk from the farm to your refrigerator as fast as we can.
GRASS FARMING PRACTICES
The cows that make Rutter's Organic Milk eat mostly pasture grass and cut grasses. They have year-round access to pasture, and are fed grain and hay when seasonal grass is not plentiful enough to keep them healthy.
Enjoy Rutter's wholesome and nutritious Organic Milk any time of day; every day.
